Tributes
  1. My dearest brother Anthony.
We were great mates as teenagers.
I say “Anthony Hall the Opera”
you had so many skills and interests,
you were so varied, so clever so determined.

You were tough and times were tough.
You were cheated on in so many ways, and it was only lately that you could be understood.

You were eager, enthusiastic and very funny.

A great cook, shearer, brick layer welder.

You loved a good Henry Bucks shirt from an op shop, and to gift something beautiful.

The people you knew I knew, around and about the truth of love swells around us.

You are sorely missed and we live confounded by the losses.
Your loving younger sister Louise Mary Carmel XXXX

  2. Dear Lucy and Joseph,
You will not remember me but your beautiful mother Josie worked at St Patrick’s in Griffith with me years ago. I remember her meeting your dad and how happy they were. I spent time out at the Griffith house with your mum & dad visiting especially when you both were born and your mum was sick.
You dad would call in to visit on some of his earlier return trips back to Griffith with you both, to say hello. And then he would drop into the pharmacy, where my husband worked, to say a quick hello. I was shocked to hear today for the first time, after reading the Area News, that your dad had passed back in May. So sorry and sad to hear this news. You are in our thoughts and prayers. If you ever come back to Griffith, please look us up. Your parents were very proud if you and you were very much the centre of your father’s life, after your mother’s passing. Do take care and thinking of you both and your grandmother,Moya, and all family. Maryanne & John Dodd

  10. Much respected member and freind of our group at Longerenong College Horsham. In our younger years we all gained from his example of hard work, determination, strong values and caring. Often up for some good natured mischief and a laugh. No doubt a great legacy and example left for his family.
