Ryan (née Houlihan ), Agnes Anne

Agnes was a great friend and supporter of Lambley Nursery and Gardens at Ballarat in recent years and I enjoyed some wonderful chats on the phone, even extending to a few horse racing tips in one of our last calls. We also had in common an association with St Mary’s in Hamilton and St Ann’s in Warrnambool (after a fashion) which was a wonderful link to a long time ago in the case of the former. Sorely missed but clearly a life well-lived!

Dear Christine and the Ryan family.
I am thinking of you all. Agnes was a beautiful lady and a respected and caring teacher at St. Ann’s.
Whenever I ran into Agnes after the girls left school, she always asked after them.

A lovely lady now at peace.
Many fond memories shared between our families over many years.
