John Denis BRITT
Passed away peacefully at St. John of God Hospital, surrounded by love.
Son of Edmund and Margaret Britt, brother of Edna, Frank and Ellen (all dec).
Deeply loved by his wife Lois (dec) and treasured father and father-in-law of Louise and Peter, Sue and Tim, and Simon and Megan.
Beloved and proud Pop to Hannah, James and Charlotte, Jordan, Jack, Ella, Zoe and Abbey, and special friend Sarah and Katie.
A dear friend to many.
John lived a full and rich life, and we will miss his love, strength and generosity enormously.
Our sincere thanks to Prof George Kannourakis, Dr Prashanth Prithviraj and the nursing staff at 1 West St John of God Hospital, for their beautiful care of John.

Requiem mass for the repose of the soul of Mr. John Denis Britt will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 commencing at 10.00am.
At St Alipius Catholic Church, 84 Victoria Street, Ballarat East.
At the conclusion of the service a burial will be taking place at the Bungaree Cemetery, 1 Lewis Lane, Pootilla.

John was a dearly loved member of the Torquay community and a great friend to our family. He often expressed so much love and pride for his family. Often, he mentioned that his goal was to make it to 90 years old – he made it! His companionship and comradery will be greatly missed. Much love to you all.
December 22, 2022What a gentleman, John we be sadly missed on his visits to Torquay and our catch up’s for a cup of tea. John lived a full life and didn’t want to miss out on any occasion. A real family man. It has been a pleasure to know him.
