  20. My little brother Jeff was the cutest little toddler, blond curls, loved playing with his match box cars and his favourite activity was hammering anything and everything he could find onto a big wooden board getting heaps of blood blisters on his little fingers but it never deterred him.

On leaving school, Jeff joined Telecom and over the years showed that he was capable of turning his hand to any task expertly plastering (like his dad), carpentry, all manner of electrical and sound systems, any problem he could solve even advising Pete and I how to fix our leaky veranda roof after expensive roofing plumbers could not!

I just loved being with Jeff and his family seeing him as a husband, dad and grandpa. It was a wonderful life full of achievements, especially birthdays, weddings, lots of love and laughter.

I will miss Jeff’s phone calls from lunch breaks, or in the car on his way home, to keep in touch, or on game day to tell us in what aisle of the footy stadium to meet up to watch the game together.

Jeff was a loyal Saints supporter and from when he was a little boy we went to Saints games and our group grew as Jeff and Sharon’s family grew. Wonderful times wins and losses, laughter and tears.

I’ll miss you Jeff forever xxxooo.

    Lesley.

  22. Our heartfelt sympathies to Sharon and family with the sudden loss of a truly wonderful husband and father.
Jeff was a much loved and trusted friend to myself and all those who knew him at Telstra.
His generous and happy demeanour helped us all cope and enjoy our time with him at work over many years. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
    Best wishes
