What a beautiful funeral for Joan. It was very moving. I am sure Joan would be so thrilled with all of her loving family. I loved your eulogy, Tricia. You were very brave and your mum, I am sure, was looking down feeling very proud.

Beautiful gran, ( grandma Joan) thank you for the never ending love ,support and memories. I will miss our weekly phone calls and the kids keeping you updated with school and their activities hearing your stories from your past , and your cheeky sense of humour which I must say quite often got you into trouble. It has been an honour to call you our grandmother words cannot express how deeply missed you will be but know you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. thank you for being the person you were you meant the world to us.

Mum your journey has been splendiferous on so many levels. Now your body has succumbed to not fighting any longer even though in your mind you would keep going.
So pleased we made it in time to be with you and you were surrounded by your loved ones at the end. Thank you for being the best Mum you could. Lovingly your daughter Tricia, son-in-law Peter, grandson Nick and wife Nicole, great grandson Thomas, granddaughter Elissa and husband Matthew, Great-Grandchildren Isabelle, Mia and Dean who affectionately knew you as Grandma Joan and adored their visits to Ballarat with you. May your reunite with Dad and know you will always be part of our lives.
