Gayl Joy Ryan
Gayl sadly passed away whilst cared for by the team at Nazareth House on Wednesday 26th of January 2022, with her family by her side.
Loved wife of Pete (Deceased 2015), adored mother to Penny & Stewart, loving stepmother to Leesa (Deceased 2002) and Mark (Shorty), treasured Mother-in-Law to Renae & adored Nana to Gabbi, Max, Jackson, Jessie, Rachel & Hayley. Cherished older sister of Lloyd and John, Sister-in-Law to Leanne and Mom and Aunt to Ben and Tim.
A fun loving Wife, Mother, Step-Mother Sister, Aunt, Nana and friend to many!
After a long hard battle, our beloved Gayl is now at peace and will be forever missed.
Gayl’s Memorial service will be held at 10am on Monday, 7th February 2022 at the Prince Regent House, 748 Geelong Road Canadian. At the conclusion of the service the family will attend a final farewell at Ballarat Crematorium.
As a celebration of Gayl’s full and happy life we ask that you please dress in colour.

February 24, 2022To all of Gayl’s family, I would like to offer my sympathies on her death. She was a great colleague during our years together at Gandarra. Fun-loving is is a very fitting description of Gayl! And of living life to the full. Many happy memories, including of Gayl going off on the back of a Harley around the streets of Sydney, whilst we were at a conference there. I also have memories of her many endearing sayings and mannerisms. She clearly had a deep love for you all. I’m sorry I was unable to attend her funeral to show my respect.
