Bellringer at St Patrick’s and St Barts.I was in awe of how John was so calm, patient and good-natured with both children and adults in the Scout Group. Sue was always by his side, quietly supporting the nurturing of our youth. He and Sue have my utmost respect for their influence on our family.

We will always think of you with fondness John.My first memory of Mr Fry is seeing him pop into conversations or activities on nights at the scout hall or on camps. Up on his toes, rocking back on his heel with a big grin on his face ready to join in on the fun. And it’s how I’ll always remember him. A big friendly kid looking to always join in and bring the fun energy. Rest in peace.
