Beloved son of Glenn Ernest Franklin
And Ann -Louise Franklin,
Much loved brother to Katherine, Claire and Samantha.
Adored uncle to Lachlan, Tiffany and Aliyah.
Also, a grandson, nephew and cousin.
Great friend to more people than we ever knew.
Our ‘gentle giant’ will be greatly missed.
How lucky we are to have had Matthew in our lives.
He was taken too soon.
Matthews family would like it known that they have donated Matthews brain to the Sports Brain Bank, C.T.E. (chronic traumatic encephlopathy) Diagnostics and Research.
Donations would be greatly appreciated and can be made direct to the research centre at Sydney University.
At the service a picture board will be made available for anyone who wishes to pin a photograph, message or memory.
If you are not able to be present, please send photos to Matthews family and they will bring them to the service.
Matthews family will later put them all in a book as a keepsake for his family.

A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Matthew will be held on Monday November 31st, 2022 at 2pm in the Prince Regent House Chapel, Harrison Funerals, 748 Geelong Rd, Ballarat.
Followed by private cremation
